Support the Library by Shopping Online

Do you love the Library and shop Amazon? Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible items to the Friends at no extra cost to you through their AmazonSmile program. To date, this program has raised over $300 for Library staff, programs, and initiatives!

To get started, log into Amazon with your web browser and click here. 

You can also activate AmazonSmile on your Amazon Shopping app on your iOS or Android mobile device (found under settings on your app). Select "Friends of the Mount Prospect Public Library" as your charitable organization. 

Then, just continue shopping, keeping an eye out for products marked “eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages. The donation happens automatically when you check out. People using a web browser must shop at smile.amazon.com for the Friends to receive the donation, so be sure to update your bookmarks after you sign up.
