Friends Accepting Donations

The Friends are excited to once again welcome donations of books, movies, music, audiobooks, and games. 

Don't think you will read that book, watch that movie, or listen to that record or CD again? 

Have you outgrown that video game, comic book, or board game? 

Need to make room on your shelves for books you just bought at the Friends Book Sale? 

The Friends will gladly accept your gently used items. Your donations will help support Library programs and initiatives by being included in future Friends book sales.

How Do I Donate?

Donations of multiple boxes or bags should be placed in the black bins (not on the floor) outside the Friends Room door. The Friends Room is located next to the elevator, on the Library lower level, just off of the parking garage. 

Only small donations (one bagful) should be brought into the Library and taken to the Registration or Circulation Desks. 

Please call the library in advance if you are donating a large number of boxes or bags. Click here for a full list of items we will accept.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes! Your donations are tax-deductible because the Friends are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We can provide a receipt for your donation, but are unable to assist in determining the value of donated items.
