Friends Spring Sale a Huge Success

The first Friends Book Sale of 2022 was a HUGE success! People turned out in large numbers to shop three different locations at the library that were overflowing with great deals on books, music, movies, and more. 

This was the first Friends sale to feature our Better Books Room in several years. Shopping in the parking garage also returned this sale after having proved extremely popular last summer. And, as in past sales, the Friends room was open to shoppers who loved the neatly organized novels, non-fiction, and children's/YA books. 

We raised more for the Mount Prospect Public Library in two days than we had done previously with many three-day sales before the pandemic. These funds will go a long way to support Library programs and initiatives that benefit our community.
