Upcoming Library Events Supported by Friends

Friends provides financial support for a number of Library events throughout the year, including FanFest and One Book One Village happening this October.

FanFest is a chance for people of all ages to show their dedication to their favorite fandoms. It is a celebration of books, films, tv shows, and games that satisfy our appetites for mystery, adventure, and wonder.

On Saturday, October 1, there will be family-friendly games, activities, crafts, cosplay, trivia, virtual reality, and more from 11 A.M. – 4 P.M at the Library. There are also additional events for adults and teens leading up to the event.

One Book One Village is a community celebration of reading. By reading the same book at the same time, and sharing experiences through related programs and discussions, One Book One Village brings people together.

Join your friends, family, and neighbors and read the National Book Award Finalist The Other Americans by Laila Lalami. Then, be a part of the conversation through Library programs, discussions, and author events.
